We invite you to join our solidarity crowdfunding. With your contribution, you will be joining the ‘Amigos Selva’, friends of Selva Adentro, a festival that promotes artistic shows as cultural and social tools for reconciliation.

The setting for Selva Adentro is the Curvaradó river basin in Chocó, a biodiverse place, where war has jeopardized communities and ecosystems. We have a theatre in the middle of the jungle, built by and for the community, allowing the making of the festival through artistic encounters that generate dialogue, reflection and joy. The construction of this theatre was not an easy task, but thanks to collective efforts it was possible to make it a reality that now serves as a means of artistic promotion in these territories. This is why Selva Adentro is a call to protect this region.

The Festival has enabled peace signatories and the nearby communities to come together and begin to re-build new forms of coexistence through the Arts. Each year, the Silver Vidal Mora Community, located in Brisas Carmen del Darien (home to former FARC-EP members, after the Havana agreements), opens its doors to receive artists, researchers, students, communities and anyone who wants to get closer and live an artistic, cultural, educational and democratic exchange that builds bridges to reconcile territories within the Colombian society.

We want to raise enough money that will support the much needed maintenance and restoration for our theatre after almost 7 years standing.

Ta contribution, nous permettra d’apporter notre soutien, au théâtre Selva Adentro et à son festival d’arts de la scène qui se déroule chaque année.

Selva Adentro, est situé au cœur du Pacifique Colombien, près du fleuve Curvaradó, dans le département du Chocó.

C’est un endroit riche en biodiversité. Mais la guerre, a mis l’écosystème et les communautés en grande difficulté.

En 2017, suite à la signature de l’Accord de paix entre le gouvernement Colombien et le groupe de guérilla des FARC, les communautés ont construit ce théâtre, en plein milieu de la jungle, dans le but de développer des rencontres artistiques, permettant de générer du dialogue, de la réflexion et de la joie.

Aujourd’hui, ces rencontres sont devenues un outil essentiel du chemin vers la réconciliation.

Dans cette région particulièrement touchée, Selva Adentro, est comme « un appel à la paix »

C’est ensemble, qu’ex-guérilleros des FARC et communautés, se réunissent pour construire, à travers l’art, de nouvelles formes de cohabitations.

Chaque année, ils accueillent artistes, chercheurs, étudiants…

Tout cela, dans le but de vivre un échange artistique, culturel, éducatif et démocratique.

Ces rencontres tracent les chemins de la réconciliation pour la société colombienne.

Collecter des fonds, nous permettra de réaliser des travaux dans le théâtre et d’accueillir en beauté, la septième version du festival.

Grazie al tuo contributo potremo fare i lavori di manutenzione al teatro del festival d’arti performative Selva Adentro, un festival che promuove l’incontro artistico come strumento culturale e sociale di riconciliazione. Questa è un’iniziativa nata dopo la firma nel 2016 dell’accordo di pace tra il governo colombiano e la guerriglia delle FARC, avvenuta a L’Avana (Cuba).

Selva Adentro si svolge sul bacino del fiume Curvaradó, nel dipartimento di Chocó, nel cuore del Pacifico colombiano. Un luogo ricco di biodiversità dove la guerra ha messo in crisi comunità ed ecosistemi. Abbiamo un teatro nel mezzo della giungla, costruito da e per la comunità, che permette lo sviluppo del festival attraverso incontri artistici che generano dialogo, riflessione e gioia. La costruzione nel 2017 di questo spazio non è stata facile, ma convinti della potenza del lavoro collettivo siamo riusciti a trasformare questo luogo in un mezzo di diffusione artistica per questi territori. Selva Adentro è un appello a proteggere la vita della regione.

Il festival ha permesso ai firmatari della pace (ex-guerriglieri delle FARC) e alle comunità vicine d’incontrarsi e d’iniziare a costruire, attraverso l’arte, nuove forme di convivenza. Il luogo dove si trovano i membri delle ex FARC-EP dopo gli accordi di L’Avana si chiama Silver Vidal Mora, a Brisas Carmen del Darien. Ogni anno, questa comunità apre le sue porte per ricevere artisti, ricercatori, studenti, comunità e chiunque voglia venire a sperimentare uno scambio artistico, culturale, educativo e democratico. Questi incontri tracciano i percorsi della riconciliazione per la società colombiana.

Vogliamo raccogliere fondi che ci permettano di fare i lavori al teatro per aprire in bellezza la settima edizione del Festival che si terrà tra settembre ed ottobre 2023. Questo sarà possibile solo grazie alle donazioni di amici come te. #CómpliceSelva, ti unisci a noi?
